Bulls vs  WP

Rugby Union – Currie Cup Round 1

With the majority of the Bulls squad over in Italy for the PRO14 final, they have sent a young inexperienced squad in to face Western Province today. WP have selected several of their stalwarts so we expect one way traffic from the start of this game.

So there will be no excuses for dropping the balls and the points.

It is a massive ask for the Bulls to send a 28-man squad (with no Boks) to Italy and then play a Currie Cup match at home. Sure WP are far from full strength themselves but they do have some regulars in the side at least. The handicap opened +33.5 and has come in a few points but I’m rather favouring the 1st half cap as the WP tend to die down towards the end of the game.
