Bristol vs  Harlequins

Rugby Union – Premiership: Semi-Final 1

Having topped the Premiership table for the first time, Pat Lam’s Bristol have been rewarded with a home game against a Harlequins side that has only won one of its four previous semi-finals.

Quins have great consistency in their team selection, so they are very familiar with the style of play. Bristol Bears were afforded an odd extra week off in preparations for their play-off semi-final against Harlequins as London Irish were forced to cancel their last game of the season due to covid-19 cases in the squad which might shaek things up a bit.

That took the shine off of the final day as Bristol became uncatchable at the top of the table but they will head out first this afternoon ahead of likely play-off final rivals Exeter Chiefs with a statement to make and travelling Harlequins look set to struggle here. The visitors have lost five of their last six away games in the Premiership including to leaders Bristol back in late March and also lost to Bristol at home in the reverse fixture.

We are however rather looking at the points market for this one
