Brazil vs  Peru

Soccer: SOUTH AMERICA Copa América – Play Offs

After surviving Chile in the quarter-finals, Brazil will look to move one step closer to winning their 10th Copa America trophy when they take on Peru at Estadio Olimpico Nilton Santos on Tuesday morning. Brazil are enjoying a very successful tournament, but they can’t afford any complacency in the semi-final clash.

Peru needed penalties to overcome Paraguay in their quarter-final fixture. They played out a 3-3 draw in normal time thanks to an own goal from Gustavo Gomez and efforts from Gianluca Lapadula and Victor Yotun before winning the penalty shootout.

Brazil have won 11 of their last 12 games, drawing the other, including a 4-0 victory vs Peru two weeks ago, and they have kept nine clean sheets in the last 12.
