Rugby Union: Friendly International

The poor Tongans were on the wrong end of a thrashing by the Mighty All Blacks last Saturday, spending more time under their own posts than out on the field, as they were dealt a 102-0 defeat. They are missing a number of their usual squad, and have resorted to filling the numbers with several semi-professional rugby players. These included a Teacher, Personal Trainer, and a painter amongst others last week.

Samoa played the NZ Maori team, and yes they did lose both their matches, however after losing the 1st one by 25 they came back the second week with a much improved performance losing only by 17. They have selected the majority of the same squad and with their continuity growing we can see them dealing a knock-out blow to the Tongans.
