Soccer – Euro 2020
Saint Petersburg will host Sweden and Slovakia for their round 2 clash.
After holding Spain to a goalless draw in their opener, Sweden will be aiming to record their first win against Slovakia tonight. They have now won 5 of their last 6 matches. They have scored 10 goals in those matches and 4 times they won to nil. They have have never lost against Slovakia and hold a W3, D3 record in the H2H.
A shocking win over Poland in their opener have put Slovakia in a good position to advance to the next stage of this tournament. Although they played well to win that game, it has to be said that Poland did not give their best performance and the result was definitely not expected. They have now won 2 of their last 6 matches (D4). They’ve scored 7 goals in those last 6 matches.
If history is anything to go by, Slovakia will have their work cut out for them if they want to beat Sweden tonight. We don’t see that happening and we are backing Sweden to continue the trend and get the result tonight.
