The Lions will be pitching up here after taking a knock to their ego’s, suffering a mid-week defeat to the South African A team.

Gatland’s side will be eager to prove their defeat to South Africa A was a blip with a big show here in their last match before the series against South Africa and plenty of spots in the starting XV left up for debate.The Lions are starting Marco Smith at 10 after the youngster have made headlines all round with his recent performances.

I think the Stormers line-up is a bit thin on depth (they lost against the Griquas last time out), and I think this is the strongest backline the Lions have selected so far on tour.

With the game being played in Cape Town, notorious for lower scoring games, I do feel the points market is a tad to high, as I do not see the Stormers getting 20 odd points, and the Lions surely will not reach the 72 by themselves.
