South Africa vs B&I Lions

Rugby Union: Lions Tour

The final game of the Lions tour is here, and the, as Eben Etzebeth accurately named it, once in a rugby lifetime game, is here for all the players tonight. The series is level after the Lions clinched the 1st test, and the Springboks came back for revenge last week. Winner takes all tonight.

We believe the hoe side will have enough momentum with them to do what is required, and will be backing them with some extra space in this final match. Changes are aplenty in both camps: Faf de Klerk and Pieter-Steph du Toit both failed to recover from injuries in time for this match, replaced by Cobus Reinach and Lood de Jager. Lions head coach Warren Gatland has made six omissions from his last starting XV and six from his bench, including the return of Welsh trio Josh Adams, Liam Williams and Wyn Jones, and we believe that this might cause some disruption. This will also lead to a more open game than we have seen in the first two tests, so we’re expecting some more points and tries this time out.

Nevertheless, we are all in for a cracker of a game as everyone knows they will have to wait another 12 years before it will happen again.
