Springboks vs B&I Lions

Rugby Union: Lions Tour

The 1st test lived up to all the hype, with a nail-biting finish that could have swung the game in either direction.

The main talking points this week has been Rassie Erasmus’ video and accusations to the refs. Was this a masterstroke by the SA Director of rugby to keep the attention off the team itself, was he trying to influence the ref’s decision making like Gatland did before the first test?

All things taken into account we are in for another massive spectacle in Cape Town tonight, with the Lions having the opportunity to clinch their 1st test series win since 2013. The Springboks will be hurting and upset by their poor 2nd half display last week, so we can be assured they will be coming out all guns blazing. This all points to a bit of a more open game than last week, with the points line likely to go over the line set by the bookies. This would’ve come in easily last week if you just add the 3 missed penalties or even 1 of the 2 disallowed tries.

This week is just to tight to call for us if we have to pick a winner, but we do like some other markets.
