Rugby Union: Olympic Games 7’s

We’ve picked out a handful of games where we see value on the handicaps for the 1st day of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Men’s Rugby Union 7s.

1st up Great Britain take on Canada, we see the men from the UK covering the -7.5 cap here. Their English speedster Dan Norton will be too much to handle combined with the gap in squads between these two sides.

We then move over to Argentina taking on the Aussies. We see the men from South America being a bit underrated here and believe this game will be much closer than expected. They might even pull off a win. The Argies have had some impressive results in the last few months notably beating Great Britain 21-19, USA 31-19 and 19-12 and smashing Korea 55-0.

The Blitsboks (South Africa) take on the Irish a bit later on, and with all the disruptions in the SA camp we can see the men from Ireland getting up for this one and keep it close. Ireland have just won in Monaco, and they’ve got Jordan Conroy who might just be the fastest guy in the series here, scoring tries for fun.

USA with the big names Carlin Isles and Perry Baker will face the Kenyans in their 1st match and they should have enough in the tank to put them away by at least 14.

Great Britain -7.5 @1.85

Argentina +7.5 @1.73

Ireland +9.5 @1.8

USA -13.5 @1.85

All Medium Stakes
