Seattle Mariners  vs  New York Yankees

The Mariners have been tough to beat when Logan Gilbert takes the mound. Seattle has won the last seven games he has started. Seattle also has a 26-18 home record and a 16-12 mark against left-handed starters this season. The Yankees have dropped Montgomery’s last two starts and aren’t playing as consistent baseball right now. Seattle is playing for the second wildcard spot at this point and salvaging this series will be crucial. The Mariners have been a much better team at home as they’re seven games above .500 at T-Mobile Park

For this one Seattle is at home and they have the better record. Yankees starter Jordan Montgomery is not enough of a factor that they should be so heavily favored. Seattle is a value play, but we’re taking them to stay within the handicap.
