Rugby Union: Currie Cup – Play Offs

The Bulls are invitng Western Province to Loftus Versveld for the first semi final of this years Currie Cup. Province have had an indifferent season with lots of inconsistent performances, losing when they’re favourites, and then upsetting some big teams. They enter this game without their standout player, Evan Roos, in the number 8 jersey which will be a massive loss for them.

The Bulls on the other hand have been the top team so far this season wiping the floor with most teams and they are well deserved favourite to lift the cup. They did however suffer a few close scares on the way, including last weekend where they almost butchered a 15 point lead in the final 10 minutes. They eventually finished 9 points clear of the Sharks (2nd) on the log and suffered just 2 defeats all season

I like the minus here and believe we’ll see a strong outing from the home team to take them to the finals.
