Rugby Union: Rugby Championship

The Springboks take on Argentina in their first game of the Rugby Championship. Coach Nienaber has made a host of changes to the team that clinched the series against the British and Irish Lions. The handicap started around the 14 point mark early in the week, but has quickly halved as the money started pouring in for the men from South America.

I feel the Springboks might still be nursing a slight Lions tour handicap, and I’m also not confident in their 10,12,13 combination at all. Argentina will target this match and come out all guns blazing. I do think South Africa will have enough to get over the line in the end, but this game is going to be much tighter than what it looks at first glance.
