There will be fireworks when France and Switzerland face each other at Arena Nationala. France have never lost to Switzerland at a major tournament; winning two and drawing two of the previous four such encounters. Mind, Switzerland are not in bad form currently. In fact, the 3-0 loss by Italy – their only taste of defeat in 10 games – was also the first time during that span that they have failed to find the net.

The French drawing against Hungary was a disappointment but they were much more assured than the stats suggest in their opener against Germany and they finally showed some attacking flair in their draw with Portugal on matchday three, so we see them getting another win here tonight.

Only two of France’s last 17 international outings have ended with over four match goals, while under 2.5 backers would have been rewarded in seven of the last nine matches involving the world champions. So we are adding Under 4.5 goals to our bet.
